I discussed how coloring pages can make sexuality and gender education more accessible to children ages 5-8 as part of a seminar on best practices for early childhood sexuality education.

Staffed a table where I talked about “condoms around the world,” distributed condoms, and provided general sex education.

Was invited to participate as a sexual health educator for Sexploration Week at IU. Answered questions for undergraduate residents at the “Ask a Sexpert” station.
Guest Lecturer, Personal Health Course, March 2014, Indiana University
Was invited to give a guest lecture for a Personal Health course at IU. I developed and presented a powerpoint on consent and safe sex called “Safe and Consensual.”
I developed and presented a “sex quiz” powerpoint called “Orgasms, Coregasms, and Everything You Need to Know About Sex,” followed be a Q&A session. This presentation included more advanced sexual health topics, such as female ejaculation, sex toys, anal stimulation, gender identity, and safer sex for same-sex couples. The presentation also included a “hands on” activity where volunteers got to make dental dams out of condoms and rubber gloves (since dental dams are often expensive and hard to find).
Love in this Club: A Sex-Positive Education & Awareness Experience, April 16th 2014, The Back Door Bar, Bloomington, IN
This was an event organized by Planned Parenthood, and included distributing safer sex supplies, interactive activities and communication exercises, and booths hosted by sex educators. I ran the sex toy booth and educated attendees about sex toys, as well as answering other general sexuality questions.

I presented a lecture on the topic of Social Epidemiology that examined the disproportionate risk for HIV/AIDS experienced by transgender women, particularly trans women of color.
